Kim Bum’s Dimples Bring the Charm While Jo Boa is Conversely Much too Serious in First Character Stills for Tale of Gumiho

I’m lulzing so hard at how the production team of upcoming fantasy drama Tale of Gumiho wants to visually portray the modern day gumiho men. It’s like a combination young gangster and bad boy male hostess at a uber exclusive bar for Gangnam wives. Yes yes, my description is oddly specific but it was just the image that comes to mind especially seeing second male lead Kim Bum‘s first character stills. Added to the earlier ones for Lee Dong Wook and these two boy gumihos clearly won’t have any problem making/stealing/swindling money to survive in the modern world. Female lead Jo Boa plays a journalist turned truth seeker and her first stills show her hard at work, pencil in mouth and a messy low pony to show her lack of time for maintenance.
