Streaming giant Netflix continues onward with drama investment and production especially on the heels of COVID-19 when onscreen entertainment is mostly streaming with movie theaters closed or limited. The platform is adapting the manhwa D.P. (Deserter Pursuit) into a K-drama scheduled to premiere in 2021. The male leads will be Jung Hae In along with Kim Sung Kyun, Son Seok Kyu, and Koo Kyu Hwan. The story has Jung Hae In leading a special army team solely to pursue and retrieve deserter soldiers. I’m glad Netflix is doing this drama because it’s a different subject matter and genre and also highlights a problem with a country using mandatory military service because not every man is suitable to serve and sometimes deserting is an inevitable outcome of trying to squeeze a square peg into a round hole and people need help and assistance.

I really like the casting! They're all great actors. The story is quite unique too. It looks promising.
Jung Hae In is a good actor, can't wait! Also, I find Son Seok Kyu's acting refreshing, it's more nuanced that most Korean male drama actors his age, so yay, exciting to watch!
Finally JHI in something other than romcom.looking forward although it will take a while.
