I just realized that Park Bo Gum has now officially won every single tvN drama time slot and he’s still so young! His new drama Record of Youth premiered today to take over the Mon-Tues time period and the first episode took in 6.362% ratings. It’s the highest ratings for tvN on the Mon-Tues block, and marks Park Bo Gum’s third winning tvN drama after Encounter (Wed-Thurs) and Answer Me 1988 (Fri-Sat). His last two successful dramas were not solely because of him but he definitely added to what made it successful, plus it goes to show he’s a smart drama picker. I haven’t watched RoY yet, busy with Labor Day fam events but I’m even more excited to check it out later!

Oh, it's finally here. Plot wise doesn't sound too interesting but then Park Bo Gum does have the winning touch.

To be honest, I found the first episode a bit boring and bland... but I’ll stick to the next few episodes to see if it improves, simply because it’s a Park Bo Gum drama. I didn’t care for Encounter, so I’m hoping this drama has the winning touch.

Park bogum breaking another record! Ep 1 is fun for me. I love how Park bogum kept changing his hairstyle, its make me forget about his previous character in other drama. Its save for me to say Park bogum really can bring rating. I will add more, He already at number 1 in buzzworthy list since last week.
This is weekday drama yet the premier rating is higher than Kim soohyun's drama.

Close shots of Park Bo Gum's face. He is so handsome. Acting is on point, not overdone like Encounter. Actually wanted to watch Encounter after i ditched after first 2 episodes because of this drama. Hope rest of the episodes are same as first one. It was a little painful,a little hopeful & earnest as puppy feeling for me. I love earnest young people like them, but unfortunately Itaewon class was too makjang and new girl was too rude to like.
Encounter has a different feel to it!! Its a slow burn like something in the rain, only that Encounter has a better cinematography,ost and production value..something in the rain though has a better chemistry than Bogum and Hye Kyo..don't ditch it if you like fairytale and notting hill vibe!!
Episode 1 is so boring. Park So Dam acting is very bland, she does not have charisma. will the rating continue to increase? dont think so.
