New Stills from Record of Youth Show Hye Joon and Hae Hyo Hitting Another Level of Exposure at Movie Press Conference

When I saw these stills today I wondered how it could be that Park Bo Gum is out promoting a movie when he’s in the army. That’s how much his character Hye Joon in currently airing tvN drama Record of Youth reminds me of him just playing himself in chronicling his rise to stardom. His narrative, character, and performance remains the best part of this drama and continues to elevate it beyond the simplistic story lines and even more mundane dialogue between the leads in their romance weaving. I can tell Jung Ah is just a wonderful human being and really very compatible with Hye Joon but their scenes just made me nod off like watching two cute retrievers hanging out on a lazy summer afternoon. I then perk up whenever Hye Joon gets another boost or attack in his acting dreams, it’s also pretty wafer thin in plotting but at least there are exciting moments including this upcoming press conference where it appears Hye Joon is handling himself quite well based on the way the interviewer seems like charmed by him.
