I’m all for shows to go on as long as it can be done safely, and this year South Korea has managed a dash more normalcy with adjusted events than other countries. The biggest music event of the year is always the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) which has been held overseas or in multiple venues on different days in previous years to continue to expand the reach. This year in 2020 it’s back in South Korea only and will be held as a live show on December 6th with no audience which is smart move. The show announced the host this week and it’s a return to hosting duties for K-actor Song Joong Ki, he’s hosted MAMA many times and was also a Music Bank host in his earlier career years. It’ll be nice to see him MC-ing the event, hope it brings entertainment to the fun starved masses with great performances.

It's always the "friends" Song Joong Ki or Park Bo Gum hosting this event lol. One of the only good things about this messy award show.
Only reason to watch MAMA is the fancam recordings of idols reacting to whoever is onstage.
No fancams this year. But most likely idols won't stay / be seated in the audience anyway.
