Yay, I’m so so excited for another great Sat-Sun drama to nosh on during the upcoming holiday season! OCN premiered a new drama last weekend that was flying under my radar called The Uncanny Counter, adapted from the popular webtoon Amazing Rumor. Starring Jo Byung Gyu, Kim Se Jung, Yoo Jun Sang, and Yum Hye Ran, the drama centers around a demon hunting group of “counters” who masquerade as employees of a noodle shop. It sounds silly but is apparently quite entertaining and of course this being OCN viewers are praising it for the smart execution. I’m thrilled for this cast and really happy to see OCN also start to rise in cable prominence, first it was tvN, then jTBC, and now OCN is really on par but with its own strength and niche. The Uncanny Counter debuted with 2.702% ratings and episode 2 nearly doubled to 4.350%.

I love this drama. From the first minutes it got me hooked. Action, thriller and comedy so good. When almost gave up with good drama after search, this drama came.
I watch this because of Kim Sejeong. But this drama is really awesome ? I cried and laughed while watching. Please try this out

I saw this on a whim when I popped up on my Netflix account and I’m so glad I watched!!!! I was laughing out loud and love the world they have built. Live a underdog story and the lead is so cute! You can’t help but root for him! Hope the great acting and tight storyline continues.
