Aaaaahhhhh this feels nice, a sense of normalcy and nostalgia for how big this awards got in recent years and perhaps a nice slimming down to focus on just the core competencies. The 2020 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) went off this weekend with a huge red carpet and many stars walking it in person. This is foremost a music evening and awards show so most of the attendees were K-pop groups and singers but there were quite a lot of actors and actresses attending the festivities. Song Joong Ki was the host, returning after doing it in prior years, and the other acting stars who got dressed up for the night out include Park Seo Joon, Yoo Yeon Seok and Jung Kyung Ho walking together (though Jung Kyung Ho’s girlfriend Sooyoung was also there but we didn’t get a couple moment), Im Soo Hyang, Im Soo Jung, Park Ha Sun, Jeon Mi Do, Lee Do Hyun, and many more. The fashion was forgettable but the star aura was definitely missed and I’m glad to see it back.

The usual black and white, It's so boring. Appreciate how sooyoung trying something else than BW, but she playing safe with the model. I've been spoiled by Chinese celebrity red carpet, their red carpet almost always fun and enjoyable to watch.
Uh...okay. The usual palette of black and white with a few pops of colour in between. Same safe styles too. To be fair though, the last time I saw a K-star go bold [Seo Ye Ji, Buil Film Awards: dayum!] she went very viral and generated a lot of memes. No wonder she went safe at the AAA.
The fashion is so plain. It is a music award so get out of the safe zone. Song Joong Ki's smile is beautiful.
