This article is literally the most obvious topic with zero surprise but it’s still nice to acknowledge the well-earned success of both talented actors. K-ent this week wrote an article on the “legendary level” of supporting male lead performances turned in by two actors in 2020: Kim Sun Ho in Start-Up and Ahn Bo Hyun in Kairos and Itaewon Class. For Kim Sun Ho, industry insiders say his sweet smile, deeper side voice, and delicately nuanced emotional and steady acting really shone and won audiences over. Ahn Bo Hyun started the year playing a desperate character in Itaewon and is ending it as the antagonist in Kairos, varied and dynamically able to stretch his acting. Industry insiders acknowledge that for supporting male leads to shine does lay with the writer in how that character is written but needs great acting to bring it to life. In the end, these two actors succeeded on their own merits so super congrats!

Ahn Bo Hyun's character in IC ended up pretty disapointing, no growth... I think his little brother was far more interesting. His Kairos's character is kinda the same.
I think Kim Bum was better than ABH as a second lead. He was really great as Rang.
How is Kairos? I’m watching Uncanny Counter right now, but curious about Kairos.
Kairos is really great. The fantastic elements work pretty well, the casting is very good.
Kairos is amazing. Give it a try, it's like watching a puzzle coming together. The characters are well written, no one is idle and everyone has as purpose.
kairos rating is Bombing . its pilot rating was 2.7% but now its at 2.6% lol. Its rating cant even go past 4.0%
. what a shame..
awaken shown in cable channel has higher rating than kairos. Le se young has no star power.
@joane Still better than the record-breaking 1% rating of your girl's drama ?
So following your logic, KYJ has no star power whatsoever ???
Wahhhh...such a sore loser. Putting down all the kdramas other than your own fav.
The ratings does not do the drama justice. The drama is critically acclaimed. The reviews are great across the board and the drama is great. It's unfortunate that the ratings are low.
I fell for KSH quite hard since Catch the ghost. The drama was ok but boy did I love the male lead. I thought his acting was wonderful and he made the character swoony. Its his voice and smile * squeals *
I like KSH since 100 days my prince. Watched Catch the Ghost after that and was so impressed by his acting, especially scenes with his mom. The sadness shown in his eyes while he tried to put up a happy front pretending to be his father to cheer her up ... the look of pain and desperation at times when he pleaded with her to remember him, her son ?... Superb acting
Happy for both for the acknowledgment. I caught an episode of I Live Alone with ABH and he seems like a super excited, wide-eyed little kid still finding his way in K-Ent.
I am impressed with Ahn Bo Hyun. He plays really unlikeable characters in both dramas. He has the looks and heights for a leading man.
