I’m glad Netflix isn’t hoarding finished projects and appears to have a deft hand in releasing new titles quickly. The sci-fi action flick Space Sweepers (Spaceship Victory) was stymied twice in attempted movie release in South Korea during the multiple COVID-19 spikes last year so the production practically went and sold the movie rights to streaming giant Netflix with hopefully both a sales profit and residual upside. The movie will be released on Netflix on February 5th, 2021, right around the lunar new year holiday so smart scheduling as well. Netflix released a new trailer and cooler looking new poster above with this news release so check it out if you’re interested, I love spunky sci-fi action yarns like Guardians of the Galaxy and Firefly (and Serenity the movie) so this is right up my alley, not to mention space cowboy Song Joong Ki and kickass Kim Tae Ri.
