Streaming platform Netflix isn’t just going all in on K-dramas it’s also extending its financing into K-movies. Yoo Ah In‘s zombie flick #Alive with Park Shin Hye got its theatrical release scuttled in 2020 due to COVID-19 and ended up a huge viewer hit on Netflix. I’m not surprised he is signing on for more Netflix exclusives, he has drama Hellbound (Hell) coming out in 2021 and will also be starring in the Netflix produced K-movie The Seoul Sting. It’s about an improbably caper launched against the backdrop of the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. Joining him will be Ong Seung Woo so two cuties for the price of one hopefully popcorn enjoyable movie. Directing is the director of the movies The King’s Case Note and As One.
