Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi Confirmed for Romance K-drama That Year Us with Simultaneous Naver Webtoon

Woah, The Witch is morphing into awkward exes! Movie stars Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik are reuniting in the small screen later this year for the romance K-drama That Year Us produced by the company that did True Beauty. I’m super surprised to hear these two pick a romance drama since it doesn’t seem like their style but I have no doubts they will have excellent onscreen chemistry and deliver the acting chops. The drama is about high school classmates who are now exes after breaking up in the aftermath of producing a documentary series. It suddenly becomes popular 10 years later forcing them to work together to promote it. The production intends to release a corresponding webtoon on Naver that covers the couples high school days (what happened back then) at the same time as the drama explores their re-connection 10 years later. It’s described as a rom-com and explores the lives and loves of modern young people.
