The rumored casting of Yoo Seung Ho and Hyeri in an upcoming sageuk is going forward with KBS starting to gather cast and crew to start filming in May. The drama is called Thinking of the Moon When the Flowers Bloom and is set in the late Joseon era during the strongest prohibition period. The female lead is a down trodden scrappy noblewoman who does multiple jobs to support her family and decides to sell moonshine. The male lead is from the Office of the Inspector General who wants to make a name for himself in the capital to bring back his family’s status. And rounding out the love triangle is the crown prince who sneaks out of the palace to secretly drinking in the city. In addition to Yoo Seung Ho and Hyeri, Kang Mina is also signed on as the second female lead. The drama will be from the PD of Doctor Prisoner and scheduled for airing in the second half of 2021.

Hyeri?!?!? Well, another sageuk ruined and yet another Yoo Seung Ho drama I will have to pass on. I love this boy but dang he has not chosen his dramas well for a long time.
*sigh* Once again, it’s obvious this young lady has some solid industry connections. It’s incredibly annoying as usual but in this world, it’s all about who you know and that seems to go double in Kdrama industry. I don’t watch any of her dramas but her last few, I was thinking maybe this time she’ll be decent and then after the first few episodes or the entire drama airs, there’s an acting controversy with her. Rinse and repeat. At least save her the seemingly constant embarrassment and have her try to develop her skills in smaller roles or productions but that would be ridiculous, right?
This time, I’m hoping It might end up being good for YSH’s sake.

Hyeri in modern dramas are barely passable. Hyeri in sageuk?????? Poor YSH, he just can't seem to catch a break. A good actor. He's better off in the other sageuk with JSM. She wisely turned it down when Taec got onboard as ML replacing Sky Castle boy.
What's going in saguek world? Taecyeon and now Hyeri? Soon all the sagueks will turn into a k-pop reunion concert. Lol.
Oh boy! I hate to say this but Yoo Seung Ho have not picked a good drama since his military discharge. From Remember to Memorist, I just can't watch him there although I watched Ruler because of the pairing, but the writing really sucks. And Hyeri is so meh. Another drama to pass.
For YSH's sake, i hope against all that this be good, but... ughhhh, i hate to be pessimistic.
