First Look at Namgoong Min Filming MBC Action Drama Black Sun

Seeing a drama take one fantasy/sci-fi concept and do it as well as tvN drama Awaken (Night and Day) did feels even more special in light of watching the burning dumpster fire that was Sisyphus: The Myth. Awaken dealt with immortality and did do a solid job of stringing together the mystery, piecemeal reveals, and decently satisfying conclusion. I do miss it though because spending two hours a week with male lead Namgoong Min as Do Jung Woo was always worth the time spent. I’m therefore extra pleased he’s coming right back with upcoming MBC drama Black Sun, playing basically another version of Jung Woo. Maybe less genius intelligence and more grizzled but nevertheless the uber capable detective/agent with a dark backstory and a wrong to right. Here are the first two pictures of him in character as filming has started and yummy can I have more. He always looks intense without being constipated and that’s a very hard line to toe as consistently as he does it.
