The rise to fame happens really fast in K-ent if it’s in the right project that gets buzz. This year it’s cue Park Eun Seok in Penthouse and now Kwon Hwa Woon in the double duty guest starring roles in Mouse and River Where the Moon Rises. Kwon Hwa Woon played really interesting characters in both dramas and managed to captivate despite the short screen time. He’s getting his first headlining gig though in a short series, he’s signed on as the male lead in MBC drama Please Check the Event. It’s a 4-episode rom-com where he plays the lead in an indie band who pretends to be a couple with his ex-girlfriend so they can take advantage of a couple’s trip reward won during a contest. I could totally see twentysomethings getting back together with an ex for freebies especially something as expensive and fun as a trip. Joining Kwan Hwa Woon this trip is Bang Minah with her first drama since the 2019 K-version of Absolute Boyfriend. The drama is slated for summer 2021 premiere.

I like him. I hope he'll get more and more great characters in the future. Fighting.
Wow, it's been awhile Minah. I Like her acting more than Hyeri, but Hyeri always gets more opportunities.
