It’s been a fun week building up to the finale weekend of tvN Sat-Sun hit drama Vincenzo. The network released more BTS videos and in general I feel like I’m going to be saying goodbye to a group of family and friends. At the onset of the drama I complained about so many oddball denizens of Geumga Plaza but acknowledged they will probably be fleshed out in due course through a 20-episode drama. They indeed have been and the great accessorizing for the leads Song Joong Ki as mafia lawyer turned righteous crusader Vincenzo has been nothing short of bravura storytelling. I’ve got no inclination to predict the ending, who dies, who lives, how and why, because this drama has reminded me that a gripping story is for the teller to unveil and for me as the viewer to consume with a grateful heart.
So this drama casting is a done deal so I won't pooh pooh it beyond…

So it's the final day May 4th in the public voting for the 2024 Baeksang…

I’m excited for the last 2 episodes. I am glad that I stayed despite of not liking much the first few eps. So far, I like all the writer’s works from Chief Kim, Fiery Priest to Vincenzo. The leads from all these dramas are always one step ahead from his opponents and viewers would always root for him. Both NGM and KNG received acting awards from these. So I hope SJK will also receive an award for his acting in this drama because he really did great!
Hopefully, the writer will do a drama again like this but this time it will be lead and titled by a female character but still with great ensemble cast.
