Spring is midway through and I’ve got my slate of K-dramas that work for me. Looking near term into summer, one of my most anticipated is Seaside Village Cha Cha starring Kim Sun Ho and Shin Mina. He finally gets his long overdue male lead billing in a high profile drama and she’s long overdue for a hit after picking some underwhelming dramas in recent years. She’s a dentist in a small seaside village and he’s the local guy about town that helps with chores but is clearly more than meets the eye. The drama is a TV remake of the Korean movie from 2014 Mr. Hong which starred the late Kim Joo Hyuk with Uhm Jung Hwa. Thank god Kim Sun Ho and Shin Mina are worthy of remaking a project with two iconic leads and I’m sure their chemistry will be smoking and best yet lots of fun to watch.

I watched the movie and is a really nice and romantic film but felt too short, I’m excited to watch what the writer will add. I’m hoping for a Camellia, When the weather is nice or the film Little forest kind of feel. The visuals of the leads are super and by just one photo I feel chemistry. It’s time for Mina to cement her position as a solid actress!
SO. MANY. DIMPLES. Ahhhhh, the cuteness! Cannot wait for this!
