Seeing the actors and actresses featured in the KOFIC K-Actor 200 List continues to impress me with the confirmation that South Korean entertainment is packed with talent. Very few idol-turned-actor/actress made this list so on just the actors and actresses who started their career in that field alone it is packed ten and twenty deep in each type of role, be it lead or supporting or antagonist. And this list isn’t even complete, I can think of actors and actresses who aren’t featured but are top talent as well. That goes to show it’s the industry failing their deep bench by not having enough good dramas and films and also casting for new talent rather than nurturing what is already there. This batch release has some of my faves as well including Park Bo Gum (I miss him!), Park Seo Joon, Kang Ha Neul, Shin Hye Sun, Lee Joon Hyuk, Kim Go Eun, Park So Dam, Kim Ah Joong and many more.

I think they grouped all the idol actors last week, which is a bit weird since Im Swan came out weeks earlier. Anyways so happy Lee Joon Hyuk made the list.

I missed bo gum too.. Happy to see his name here. He is really good in acting and most of all his great personality. Bo gum is the reason why I hv watched kdramas.i am always rooting for a new project of him. He may not be the best but he has a great acting skills. A guy with that innocent look but deadly stare.
