I remember when K-dramas always had a scary/creepy/horror themed drama ready to air in late July/early August when it’s lunar new year ghost month. It’s doesn’t happen regularly anymore but this year there will be Shaman Girl Da Doo Shim streaming on Kakao TV in three weeks time. Starring Kim Sae Ron and Nam Da Reum, the drama centers around high school student Ga Doo Shim born into a shaman lineage with the ability to see and vanquish evil spirits. She tries to live a normal life and transfers to a high school only to find it’s infested with said evil spirits. Cute boy next door Nam Da Reum who becomes her shaman partner and the two probably spend the day dealing with high school drama and the night going all ghostbusters. The poster looks great and the teaser ever better, I can’t wait!

can't wait for this drama, I've been rooting for this two when they used to be child actors, especially Nam Da Reum to get a leading role.
I’ve always had a soft spot for NDR. He does an excellent job of playing younger versions of leading characters in so many dramas, it’s hard to keep count. With dramas that doesn’t look promising from the onset, I still watch a few episodes just for him. Lol I’m so happy for his lead role.
Oh love this. I love all ndr drama in it. Glad he finally got ML and pair with ksr that equal with talents can act and cute.

Nam Da Reum ?
I only got to know Nam Da Reum in Days. He was so adorable in it. His verbal sparring with Myul Mang was one of the highlights and his presence made it less boring. On a side note, there have been so dramas with shamans, devils, ghosts or witch themes lately. After Devils Judge, Witch's Diner is on next week while Seo In Guk has just been offered the Han Jun shaman role in Minamdang-Case Note based on a novel written by Jung Jae Han which is popular on Kakao Page. Park Hye Jin who wrote Ruler, Master of the Mask will pen the tv script. Looks like this is the trend on k-tv.
I normally get very nervous over a writer's cred these days. However, Park won best screenwriter award for ruler so I think it's not a bad thing.
Webtoon character has a mole under his left eye too. Heard People Story is producing it. Naturally they offer ML role to their own in Story J. Casting luck has just been extended. Better strike while the iron's hot.
just one thing to say. nam dareum is already sooo big. but her mother still handles his ig account... lol. i just don't understand why her mom doesn't give him to handle his account yet. she should have an awareness already that his son is already big. don't get me wrong. I'm not a hater. this thing just made me puzzle abt his mom. maybe it's both of their decisions. btw, his ig is namedareum_mom
