Netizens Still Tune in for the Comedic Absurdity of Penthouse Season 3 as Mummified Logan Lee is Resurrected Looking Like the Villain of Inuyasha

I’m glad SBS Friday night drama Penthouse season 3 is still a hit and that I’ve never been inclined to watch it, because that means all I consume are the brilliant/absurd nuggets from each new episode as viewers watch and rail at each successively more crazy development. This week Logan Lee is resurrected after being BLOWN UP in a car bomb explosion at the end of season 2. The actor already made an onscreen return earlier as twin brother Alex Lee who happens to be into black and gangster life and I can’t even discuss it further without treading close to cultural mockery. Now he’s back wrapped up like a mummy on life support and is awakened by an injection of magic potion. I love how netizens immediately associated his visual with that of the villain of hit Japanese manga Inuyasha when he was the burned human thief Onigumo, lololol.

  • I'm happy that means there's still a lot of people who remembers inuyasha...my most favorite manga/anime ever. as for Penthouse 3, it seems the plot became more ridiculous..I watched Penthouse 1&2, but because the 3rd is only aired just one ep each week makes me not too excited to watch. I think I'll watch it when the drama finished. Ridiculous or not I'll become curious for the ending.

      • She said she loved the drama and was watching it. Which is why I'm surprised she hasn't posted about its finale. Besides, she hated Doom (2%) which got even lower ratings than MRIAG yet she still posted about it.

And what's your obsession with ratings anyway? Assuming you have a job, does your salary depend on how high a drama's ratings are???

  • The reason they had to resurrect him as a mummy is because the gangsta doppelganger got so much hate. I'll bet that the hated twin will never show up again onscreen.

The writer or writers had no tricks left and had to resurrect Logan since all the evil characters are out of prison and living like they used to.
