The first teaser poster is a little too cutesy for me but I’m still wildly excited for the August arrival of tvN drama Hometown Cha Cha Cha (Seaside Village Cha Cha Cha). The vibe feels like the glass half full peppy cousin of When the Weather is Fine which was the glass half empty melancholy kid on the block when it comes to moving to the countryside of one’s hometown. Hometown is the drama adaptation of the K-movie Mr. Hong but with all the broad strokes filled in now that there are 16-hours to better develop the characters in that oddball village, starting with the handyman male lead and the dentist from the city female lead. Kim Sun Ho and Shin Mina are obviously an onscreen match made in heaven so here’s to hoping the promos kick up more interesting fodder than this first poster.

I love this poster. It looks different than the usual ones.
If you take out the cute flowers/fishes border it's a melodrama poster, so the cuteness gives me hope for a light and romantic drama (I need it now). And also the "The moment our hearts started to dance". Cute!
Lovely poster. Looking forward to watching home cha on 28 August.
