jTBC college romance and bad decisions drama Nevertheless is wrapping up its run with a less than hoped for ratings but it got plenty of buzz from beginning to now end for a variety of reasons both good and bad. That it starred the two IT young stars of 2021 in Han So Hee and Song Kang was definitely the selling point but then it went to the frustrating (albeit realistic) romance where the girl can’t stay away from the bad boy. The drama didn’t highlight either lead in character or performance in a good light but has given the supporting cast a chance to captive. While Yang Hye Ji was supposed to be getting another career boost after Live On and When the Weather is Fine, it’s actually even smaller supporting female actor Yoon Seo Ah that netizens are fawning over. She was earlier in True Beauty and is only 22 years old and this is her third drama role, but viewers love her lively acting that doesn’t feel overacted and looks wise she’s being compared to a more robust version of Chae Soo Bin. I always love adding a new name to my tags so I’m thrilled for Yoon Seo Ah to get recognition in this drama.
This year 2024 has been a slow year for K-actress Suzy in terms of her…
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…
If I didn't know this drama was a romance set in space and done K-drama…

Are netizens fawning over her looks? Because her entire role was aegyo, which you can even tell from the stills at the top.
K-netz are a fickle bunch. They were fawning over Yang Hye-Ji at one point during the drama. Now it's this Yoon Seo-Ah.
What? I really don't like her character acting like a 5 years old kid... And as an actress, she didn't show anything special. From the 4 actresses, she's the weakest.
I'm more impressed by Lee Ho-Jung, she's unrecognizable in the movie Battle of Jangsari.
Her character was annoying . She didn't do anything special , aegyo is not my thing . I find it childish , perhaps because i'm french .
she is seriously good imo, especially in earlier series. she is showing geniune emotion and believable chemistry with her costar, that make me believe her feeling towards Yoon Sool. she is one of the few actor who is still care acting wholeheartly despite limit screen time.
Dead! They are already trying to replace Chae Soon Bin when she still hasn't had her breakout hit yet. I like CSB but she is always so unlucky.
The idiot sleaze playing her love interest screwed things up for Yang Hye Jin
I'm pretty sure Lee Ho Jung is considered more of the breakout, no? She pretty much blew up in terms of popularity. Yoon Seo Ah is definitely a great actress though. Everything always feels genuine from her.
Koala and her imaginary knetz that consider the most annoying character a breakout star lol
All your posts about this drama have been removed from reality so this one comes as no surprise
I still find Yang Hye Ji has the best performance in this show. She is natural and pretty. In face she is prettier than Han So Hee. Hope she will have more exposure like Han So Hee in months to come.
There are 2 people I find irritating in Nevertheless:
In order of irritant priority:
1) Yoon Seo-A takes the prize (esp her voice and her immature antics), followed by
2) Yang Hye-ji
Cool is Lee Ho-jung.
