Okay, I know Song Hye Kyo is a much bigger star that Jang Ki Yong but this latest preview for SBS drama Now, We are Breaking Up makes it feel like a one-woman show. Sure he’s the male lead but all we see are her angst and emotions, he comes across as a cipher or perhaps the “boyfriend” character that isn’t meant to engage the audiences as much as be the foil for her character to stand in for any woman who has been through a breakup whatever the circumstances. I like that Song Hye Kyo’s character is very expressive and alive here, her last drama Encounter (Boyfriend) she played a super reserved and almost emotionally frozen character as written and it’s nice to see her project a capable career woman but also someone with strong vocal emotions. The fashion scenes I don’t know how realistic it will be, likely not, but Jang Ki Yong also doesn’t make a good photographer as he just looks like the model in front of the camera lens all the time.

The writer wrote misty, it was very female centric story. The teaser is not bad, shk is looking great
I'm not sure I see shk being 'expressive and alive' in this preview. She gets weepy at one point but otherwise looks stoic as always. Hopefully the story is good.

Well, There is a reason they pick Jang ki Young. He is also not that important in WWW. It's all about the woman ROFL. feel bad for him. Hope he is getting important part here or else he will be typecast just as an eye candy.
He shone most when he is just as an eye candy like in Go Back Couple, I really liked him there.

The age difference is pretty obvious. SHK looks like she's in her 40s which she is anyway and JKY looks like the twenty-something that he is. Shk is her usual expressionless self.
Seems like Jang Ki Young is playing his clingy, charmless Search WWW character all over again and he was the worst thing about that drama by miles. Song Hye Kyo is playing her Encounter character storyline again: get together, break up, angst about getting together, angst about breaking up. Yawn
