I’m living the promos for upcoming drama Our Beloved Summer (That Summer, We) for not just the acting chemistry glimpsed from the previews but also the deft touch in whetting the appetite. The first preview showed leads Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi as high schoolers in that perennial love/hate relationship when the boy likes the girl but she likes to play hard to get. This new preview time jumps the leads to the present day when both are ten years older, not necessarily emotionally wiser, but definitely has the weight of the real world on their shoulders on top of whatever feelings are lingering. I LOVE IT, and love it even more that it’s these two unassuming actors with genuine talent essaying this chemistry because it feels alive and real rather than cheesy. This month has seen a ton of new dramas drop to varying degrees of success so Our Beloved Summer will have a nice month to marinate before it arrives in December.

Kim da mi should be as popular as PSJ. She carried Ittaewon class to its fame.PSJ just riding it
How much more idiots will comment shits here based on their petty and delusional behavior lol
It kinda reminds me Fight My Way. They have the same kind of relationship. I like stories about friends becoming lovers, it's fun to watch and at least you know why they love each other.
This drama looks fun. Is this going to be on Netflix?
These two are face twins - their visual sync rate is close to 100%. The trailer looks adorable and gives me manga feels.
Looking forward to this, I think I'm going to enjoy this one after Dali and the Cocky Prince
