This Saturday was the 2022 Golden Disc Awards in South Korea, after the spate of year end drama awards it’s a nice change to see the music side fete the notable achievements of 2021. Since I write about dramas and movies and only rarely follow the musical acts my interest in this ceremony and winners are only those who are also my acting faves. That means I am super happy that actress-songstress IU took home a big award Song of the Year and bonus points for Lee Do Hyun being the one to announce it. Too bad COVID-19 protocols meant they were never on the same stage or got the hand trophy hug but my Man Wol-Chung Myung heart was still full. Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi hosted the ceremony along with actress Lee Da Hee and singer Sung Si Kyung, and in attendance to present awards were a bevy of actors and actresses including Jung Woo Sung, Ahn Hyo Seob, Jeon So Min, Woo Do Hwan, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Jeon Jong Seo. There wasn’t any fashion note to speak of but the feather and flower trellis wrapped around the microphone stand actually made the mostly all black outfits pop a bit in the pictures.
Well this is a bit of good news for two K-actresses having been in controversy…

I think that is just a weird angle, not Osgood-Schlatter knee. She is bending/slightly raising her knee and the bump you see is her calf muscle.
