A dark or uncomfortable topic often makes for a meaningful watch if it delivers a compelling story around the subject matter. Upcoming MBC Fri-Sat drama Tomorrow is adapted from the same name webtoon and deals with the members of a crisis management team tasked with saving suicidal people. The suicide rate in South Korea is extraordinarily high for a first world country and remains high year after year so the idea of living for tomorrow (is another day) is a pertinent topic for the domestic audience as well as others. The drama stars Kim Hee Sun with younger team members Ro Woon, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Yoon Ji On as they do their best to talk people off the proverbial ledge. Check out the first teaser below with the drama premiering in March 2022.
