I love me a reunion but this recent trend will hopefully not continue because it is a teensy bit squicky. I saw a preview still for upcoming Disney+ romance drama Kiss Sixth Sense with Yoon Kye Sang and Seo Ji Hye and got super excited because I love them both. And then my drama watching memory kicked in and I remembered that this would be a reunion project for them after starring in She is Nineteen (My Sister-in-law is 19) 17 years ago, but in that drama they played fraternal twins! Mwahahaha, okay this is so awkward to even write. Of course that was fictional twindom and also so very very long ago. But this does follow a recent trend of onscreen sibling reunions into OTP – last year there was Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si, siblings in Sweet Home into romantic lovers in Youth of May, and later this year will be Our Blues where Lee Byun Hun and Shin Mina are onscreen lovers but twenty years ago in Beautiful Days he was her older brother. Ultimately I can separate fiction from fiction but are there weird pairings that you find odd the casting director would select?
This year 2024 has been a slow year for K-actress Suzy in terms of her…
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…
If I didn't know this drama was a romance set in space and done K-drama…

I like both YKS and SJH.
Interesting pairing!
Forgive me for saying so but that's such a silly hangup - they are actors who played siblings once, not actually siblings or even thinking of each other as siblings lol. They can take different roles opposite each other in a later project!
@ROYAL WE, I agree but i can understand @Koala too .Sophie Marceau who played in "La Boum" French cult movie , 4 years later she was in a movie in wich she played a wife and his husband was the actor who was her father in " la boum" ! I can say that viewers weren't that happy even if they were just doing her job as actors . For ex : i may be silly but i can't imagine Yoon Eun Hye playing Gong Yoo's sister even after 14 years , Lee jun ho being Lee Se Young's brother...
Junho playing Seyoung's brother will be a real torture for us after that RSC ending.
There is an actual physical pain thinking about that.
@cahill - honestly it wouldn't bother me that much after a few years (I admit that if I read news of Junho and Lee Seyoung playing siblings in 2022 I'm still too emotional from The Red Sleeve to just be "oh ok" about it...but even them I would be ok with it after a few years)
I may just be unusually 'whatever' about it because two actors who played siblings in a tv show I watched as a teenager, got engaged to each other in real life lol. It's quite a strong reminder that roles really are fiction!
@MMMhwaym - I understand how you feel, because I would feel that same way too right now! But in 2-3 years, I would be able to accept it and loom forward to the new role instead of wanting to cry every time I think about TRS lol.
@Royalwe, after a few years i would be ok too, but sometimes some fictional couples are played so well that they are hard to forget . For the others i have no problem .
I literally remember everything I said in this post.
Junho , Seyoung and Kang Hoon want to play siblings in a sitcom drama.
This is what they said in taiwan fanmeeting .??
Ok , I see they are actors and I will literally move on from red sleeve.
Nothing against the lead pair, but I wish they would've cast more age appropriate actors.
