Yoo Yeon Seok Offered Male Lead Role in jTBC Workplace Romance Drama Understanding of Love
Workplace romances seem to be coming back and another come is on the way in the form of jTBC drama Understanding of Love, based on the same name novel. It’s set in the branch office of a bank and deals with the work and interpersonal relationships of the bank employees. Judging from the book cover it’s not a rom-com but a more introspective and serious piece. Yoo Yeon Seok has been offered the male lead and is considering the role, which would mark his first drama role since last year’s Hospital Playlist 2 where he continued to win hearts with his kind pediatric surgeon character. The drama is scheduled for the latter half of 2022 and is still in the early stages of casting.

It sounds interesting but I don't really care for Yoo Yeon Seok as an actor.
Same. We know that he is a great actor but he lacks appeal to be a lead maybe that’s why he mostly stars in an ensemble cast or as a second lead.
Great. Looking to see him again as always.
Great actor, great theater actor, great voice.
Lol. I like his acting first. Then his voice.
So now that he is in the leading role- I am so watching it. He also chooses dramas/movies fairly well so I know the script will be ok.
I've been so turned off by some leading actors that I actually avoid their dramas.
