Okay, this drama looks amazing but also creepy as heck. It gives off The Guest vibes and OMG I loved that drama so much even though it was heck hard to watch. The first posters and teaser is out for April 2022 TVing streaming drama Monstrous, giving 2021 breakout star Koo Kyo Hwan his first leading man role paired with also breakout star Shin Hyun Bin. The play a divorced archeologist couple who reunite to investigate and solve a mystery in a remote village involving a Buddhist statue. South Korea does creepy, true supernatural, and even dark horror so well in movies but less sustainable as a long form drama. This is slated to be a 6-episode drama so I have high hopes and will come with my big koala girl pants so I don’t yelp in fear too much.
Preview for Monstrous:
This year 2024 has been a slow year for K-actress Suzy in terms of her…
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…

Wow, this looks really good!
It seems like TVING has been low key producing really good dramas for quite awhile now.
Really looking forward to this, 6 episodes seems short but many of the best tv shows or miniseries I have ever watched from any country have been less than 6-10 episodes/season. 6 episodes here means every episode will probably be intense, I have high hopes for this!!!
I usually won't check out supernatural k-dramas until they've completed their run and are deemed somewhat coherent. The Guest did work but so many make no sense. Six episodes sounds about right so this I can give a try and not be bitter if things fall apart in the last episode.
Really looking forward to Monstrous!!!!! actors (KKH +SHB) + production (writer and director) have good track record.
This looks so good!!!!!! The problem is where stream…
I haven’t even watched work now drink later despite the good reviews because there’s bo legal streaming site have it
The Guest was fabulous! I dont think I've cried as much in any k drama. It got creepy but also emotional and the relationship between the three friends really touched me.
