Weekend Dramas All Drop in Saturday Ratings But Viewer Interest Remains High in Finale Episodes for Twenty Five, Twenty One and Forecasting Love and Weather
It’s finale weekend for two buzzy and high profile cable weekend K-dramas, though their paths have diverged more noticeably as airing went on. tvN drama Twenty Five, Twenty One and jTBC drama Forecasting Love and Weather are both finishing this weekend, and when the dramas premiered the ratings were really close but over time Twenty Five, Twenty One increased to over 10% for a few episodes whereas Forecasting stayed stagnant and even decreased. No surprise, the quality and narrative stickiness speaks for itself and the ratings reflect that. This Saturday’s episodes are lower for both dramas, Twenty Five at 9.592% and Forecasting with 5.650%. The big impact was to MBC Fri-Sat drama Tomorrow which premiered with promising ratings of 7.6% and dropped by half with Saturday getting 3.4%. In terms of buzz tomorrow will be all about Twenty Five as the viewers are desperately praying the OTP end up together in the end with a happy ending for shippers of Yi Jin and Hee Do.

Such a bittersweet relationship between Yi Jin & Hee Do. I can understand why the writer choose this type of ending for them. Obviously they won't end up with each other. It really reflects the reality of our lives. People grows apart, it's very realistic and natural. Yes there definitely some regrets along the way but life still goes on. In reality, our lives don't really go smoothly as we expected.
If Hee Do all along have difficulty accepting her mum being apart because of work. And now Yi Jin is following her mum's footsteps. Surely she will have second thoughts. So I'm sure they will part their ways as they choose different paths
I would say telling the viewers the OTP doesn't end up together isn't good for ratings but since everything was down, maybe the drop wasn't because of that. I'm looking forward to the finale of Twenty Five Twenty One. Each episode has really been wonderful.

As much as I love FlAW, I agree that it is quite dragging... I kept on checking the time while watching this on Netflix hoping more Si Woo and Jin Ha Kyung interaction at the end of each episode. But still... FLAW is my happy pills, make me excited. What to watch next? Saturday and Sunday back to mundane:(

The main leads in 2521 broke up was because they were gradually growing apart. Perhaps Hee Do was unable to accept her boyfriend or husband to be constantly away from her due to her growing up experience. But I don't really understand Yi Jin's point of view. If they really love each other, shouldn't they make adjustments to fit each other into their lives? The ending is a bit upsetting for me.
