Looks like it will be double the Im Soo Hyang dosage coming in May, and honestly the channel bitch fight is way more interesting. On Tuesday MBC announced that K-drama Dr. Lawyer with So Ji Sub, Shin Sung Rok, Im Soo Hyang will air on May 27th, normal announcing stuff. Then it heard through the grapevine that SBS was suddenly scheduling From Today We Are, the Jane the Virgin K-drama remake, also for May and that drama stars Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon. MBC sent a message to SBS for being douchey and double scheduling Im Soo Hyang on TV at the same time and told SBS to reschedule, but SBS ignored the demand and doubled down by releasing the first teaser for From Today We Are that night and putting the drama in the Mon-Tues slot airing after a few weeks break from when A Business Proposal ends this week. Dr. Lawyer is going in the Fri-Sat time slot so there won’t be a head to head Im Soo Hyang showdown but it’s still an unspoken rule not to schedule the same leads at the same airing window.

It looks like SBS had issue with the bus accident of the crew of their sageuk that caused the death of a PD. So they had to change their schedule.
I wonder why ISH accepted both drama because she had to film in the same time...
Are there no other Kactress?
And all I can think is with all the wonderful Korean actresses to choose from, how why is it we get a double-dose of Im Soo Hyang?! LOL
So much drama over a double dose of a mediocre actress.
It is not great for the actress. I would think she would want them airing separately instead of people having to choose. I assume one is already filmed because I can't imagine working on 2 dramas at the same time as a lead.
this isn't even a problem if it's happened in chinese entertainment lol. i also don't see why it's a problem. it's just the same time frame, not time slot. lee sang yeob also had 2 dramas (kbs and sbs) aired in the same time frame previously with him being a male lead. songkang with his love alarm and navillera. but they still can promote both dramas without difficulties. mbc looks childish for making a fuse over this. this is normal in china. korea should normalise this thing also
Is this drama/dramas pre-shoot or they will eventually live shooting? damn how will she cope with that crazy schedule if even one of the dramas starts to live shoot?
The jane the virgin remake started filming in November, I believe, so they should be done by now. May is next month and i'm not sure if sbs has anything except this drama ready for airing.
