Netflix K-drama The Sound of Magic is Off to a Promising Start with First Day Ranking #7 Worldwide

It did feel like The Sound of Magic was in preparation for quite some time and now it’s finally here with a huge sigh of relief. It’s taking on a new fantasy genre for Netflix which has skewed supernatural and thriller, and the first day ranking got it up to #7 worldwide. That’s a great start but only time will tell if the drama has legs. I’ve had like the worst weekend ever in real life so I haven’t watched this or anything but from the critics reviews it’s a mixed bag. The criticism is the drama aims high but doesn’t deliver in the storytelling meat and that it’s more form over substance.
