Ambition Drives Seo Hyun Jin at the Law Firm and Law School in First Look at Upcoming SBS Fri-Sat Legal Thriller Drama Why Her

So the promo circuit is starting off a bit late for upcoming SBS Fri-Sat drama Why Her (Why Oh Soo Jae) but better later than never because it looks really intriguing. Starring Seo Hyun Jin, Hwang In Yeop, and Bae In Hyuk, the initial synopsis made it seem like yet another awkward female teacher-male student taboo type romance but the promos turn it into a legal thriller with lots of power playing and latent misconduct. The teacher-student element here is also in the law school level so the student is not underage which is one of the big lines that K-netizens always harp on. I don’t even think the romance will be central to the story as it appears to revolve around successful and cold Seo Hyun Jin’s lawyer character and my sense is she’s got many more goals then love even if she ends up finding it with Hwang In Yeop’s character who is her law school student.
