Netflix Pulls a Vanity Fair Hollywood Edition in Too Many Stars to Fit in a Shot Pictorial for Upcoming Money Heist: Korea

I love that there is still so much runway for Korean entertainment in both movies and dramas before it feels like fickle viewers are off to the next thing. Netflix investing in producing its own K-dramas since 2017 has paid off in the runaway hits like Squid Game and also expanding options for its subscribers in other popular dramas. Up next is a combination of K-dramas with another prior Netflix hit in Spanish series Money Heist with the K-adaptation Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area. The cast is huge and cuts across both movie stars and more familiar television faces, with Yoo Ji Tae holding down the center spot as the Professor with Park Hae Soo as Berlin, Jeon Jong Seo as Tokyo, Lee Hyun Woo as Rio, Kim Ji Hoon as Helsinki, and many more. The latest promotion has the stars in a sleek black and white shot so broad horizontally it brings to mind the annual Vanity Fair Hollywood edition where stars angle to be the cover rather than in the fold.

  • SO EXCITED for this. Loved the original and the Korean remake might be even better with the One Korea spin. Please be good, please be good.

The casting of Jun Jeongseo as Tokyo is *chef's kiss*.

  • The baddie from FOE is back with his sexy long hair. Kim Ji Hoon. Thank you Netflix. Koala's comment section will be interesting as everyone can watch and discuss/debate/fling mud at each other at the same time.

I'm really frus cuz we can't discuss apple+ Pachinko here. Coupang Play's Anna will meet the same muted fate. Live watching together is so much more fun.

    • I agree - Pachinko was a joy to watch, and LMH was perfect for the role of Hansu.
All the cast were excellent. No wonder it scored so highly and got brilliant reviews from critics all over the world
