Some stuff continues to look both cool and anachronistic for upcoming tvN drama Alchemy of Souls. This is one drama I have no clue what to expect and no inkling how it will be received by domestic audiences in Korea in terms of ratings. The latest stills and new character poster is out and from the promo releases this feels like a female centric story centered around Jung So Min‘s character, a formerly elite warrior whose soul is now stuck in a weak body. The character stylings remain randomly weird but who knows if it will end up working, what the Hong Sisters do is push the envelope and I appreciate that even of it doesn’t always land.

I would love for Jung So Min to hold a badass character in this drama.
Not knowing what to expect from the short video clips or from the poster. Hope it is going to be good.
Excited to watch #JungSomin's performance in this drama. From a romcom queen to an elite warrior/trainor and a servant. Looking forward to the worldwide premiere of this drama in Netflix on June 18.
