This week continues the new drama premiere and Mon-Tues saw the arrival of Link: Eat, Love, Kill on tvN taking over the time slot left empty for 6 weeks after Military Prosecutor Doberman ended in end of April. That drama started with 5% range ratings and kept going up ending past 10% so it’s one of the tvN hits in 2022 but Link really has to carve out its own path and expectations. This drama with Yeo Jin Gu and Moon Ga Young reuniting as two child actors who worked together over a decade ago and now both successful adult actors getting what sounds like an interesting and meaty combo drama – romance with suspense and even fantasy all rolled together. The promos are weird in an off-kilter way but so far the reviews for the first two episodes have been positive from viewers while the premiere ratings of 3.124% and 3.098% are merely okay. I’m traveling this week so haven’t had a chance to dive in yet but I look forward to hopefully being pleasantly surprised when I do.
