I know this drama will get a proper English title eventually but it’s weird to keep calling it Youth, Climb the Barrier because it has like, nothing to recommend what it’s about. I’m talking about the K-drama adaptation of the Chinese novel The Golden Hairpin which was already filmed as a C-drama adaptation but that remains unable to air due to the scandal and arrest of its male lead. The K-version stars Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee which will be interesting to see, especially in recent years so many young K-actors and actresses have really elevated their craft in sageuks. The drama is still filming but a few pictures of leaked with the two leads in scene so check it out!

I really hope the script & directing is on point because I just want another well received and successful drama in PHS's arsenal, which feels long overdue. I'm not too worried about the leads' chemistry because that dude can romance a wall with his honey eyes lol
Hmm I felt like he lacked chemistry with Han So Hee. It's definitely a two-way thing.
