I wish this drama didn’t call itself Little Women but then again quite a few Korean dramas have used famous Western work titles and it didn’t create confusion, thinking of Pinocchio and While You Were Sleeping among others. Perhaps this is using that classic novel set up of four sisters as an inspiration, but this time its just three sisters with Kim Go Eun as the eldest, Nam Ji Hyun as the middle sister, and Park Ji Hoo as the maknae who is still a student. These sisters get involved in a case and end up on opposite sides of a mega rich and powerful family. Directing is the PD of Vincenzo and The Crowned Clown with the script from the writer of Mother. The drama will air in September in the Sat-Sun time slot after Alchemy of Souls.

I'm really excited to watch this one. I love Kim Go-Eun and Nam Ji-Hyun and the PD.
No sure to see the connection with the book Little Women except the fact they're sisters and not rich. :p
This looks nothing like Louisa May Alcott's book in tone or plot. The Singapore shots remind me of Crazy Rich Asians. Love Kim Heewon's directing so will check it out just for her.
I like the Saoirse Ronan version too much so this preview looks very meh to me.
Super excited for this drama as I love Nam Ji Hyun. The first trailer looks intriguing. Too bad it's only 12 episodes. Can't wait for the Singapore shots as a friend lives there. She was super stoked when KGE and WHJ flew there in June. Major parts of a main road were blocked off for filming.
Reg the title LW, I personally think it reeks a bit of media play using famous works to gain extra publicity. I read in an interview in which the writer mentioned that she was partly inspired by the LM Alcott novel but she found it boring after re-reading it as an adult. Giving the drama its own name would be far more respectful.
