When Kim Tae Ri debuted through the critically acclaimed erotic thriller movie The Handmaiden in 2016 she was absolutely the ingenue. She still looks like one with her tiny strong physique but she’s evolved from that to being an onscreen Princess in her presence and now she’s a full blown Queen in how she commands the lens. Everyone I talk to who has watched Twenty Five, Twenty One sings praises about her and she earned it. She hasn’t had a misstep in her 6-year acting career but it feels less like luck and more like thoughtful planning and selection. Even her pictorials are not as frequent as I’m sure she can get offers for but whatever she picks like this August 2022 Vogue Hong Kong spread it just captivates all eyes on her.
