This is a reunion I’ve wanted on the small screen but not a true reunion since the two leads didn’t play leads opposite each other in their previous drama together. I’m talking about Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young going from bickering and got each other’s back pals in Hwayugi (A Korean Odyssey) to now playing opposite personality lawyers who fall in love running a small legal firm in The Law Cafe. I feel like both are doing this drama to detox from the much too serious but oh so compelling of a watch subject matter of their respective last dramas, Lee Seung Gi passed the baton of his Mouse serial killer/big boss vibes now to Lee Jong Seok in Big Mouth and Lee Se Young is leaving the recesses of The Red Sleeve Cuff Joseon palace prison for freedom to pursue her interests. The first teaser is light and cute enough and there are plenty of supporting faces I recognize and enjoy watching onscreen on top of the OTP.

Does KBS2 have no other English titles available? Cafe Minamdang, to be replaced by The Law Cafe? As always, I prefer the literal translation of the original title, Love According to Law.
