We’re T-minus two days away from the ending weekend for tvN Sat-Sun drama Alchemy of Souls, and oh what has changed in the month since I was swanning high with excitement for this drama. But one thing that hasn’t changed is so much I continue to love Shin Seung Ho and his character of the Crown Prince. His useless simpering dad the emperor and his stepmother the current queen who has been soul swapped makes him the lone stalwart of sanity in the royal family and the only one who can pick up the pieces after the coming showdown. That he continues to make such a strong impression in his few scenes per episode speaks volumes for having that steady commanding presence onscreen and the luck that his character hasn’t been written to have a lobotomy unlike some of the other characters. He’s definitely a to-watch-for in the future and however Alchemy ends it I will definitely remember the positive that it introduced me to him.

he is adorkable!
He's such a bada*$ in DP!!You'll love to hate him there.Yeah, for a rookie he's very good.
I'm happy they calmed down with the white powder and the eyebrow in triangle they gave him at the beginning. But his character is really interesting and the actors is good. I really liked him in his different roles. He was awful in D.P. but was an interesting teenager in How to Buy a Friend.
still remember him as Nam Shi Woo in A-Teen.
He has played an excellent Crown Prince and his lines have been played very well, BUT I have enjoyed the whole show and cast performances immensely. I have watched each episode over and over each week leading to the final weekend tomorrow and have not grown tired of it. Bring on season 2 because I cannot wait!
Whys is this drama in English now. I watched episodes 1-18 with the actors speaking in Korean national language. But today... I went to re-watch an episode and it is in English, and I hate it. I don't feel like the emotions come through in English. At least when it was in Korean I could imagine what ever emotion and intensity that I wanted... now its just meh! I'm so upset because I know the last two episodes are going to be intense
Maybe you changed a setting for language on your Netflix? I always watch Korean language with English captions, for that very reason, the emotional content is in the original voices and phrasing.
I had the same issue yesterday when I went to rewatch the series!! I do NOT LIKE THE ENGLISH DUBBING. Korean with English subtitles is perfect. None of my settings were changed.
Lily you are being racist, the drama is enjoyed by ppl of all races all over the world, because it's translated in English, not All of us are Korean.
The role of the Crown Prince is being essayed very well by the actor. He is very handsome, acts well. I do root for him.
I think the way they are acting. It makes become part of the series. Nice series overall
It should be the best K-drama of 2022, I love their chemistries and acting. They 're all cute on their ways. Good job to all the actors, director, and all the stuff 👏👏👏👏
