When you have done everything and won everything then it seems natural to branch out even to something that never seemed worth his time. Award winning K-actor Song Kang Ho has been critically acclaimed in Korea for his 32-year long career and in recent years thanks to Parasite now also critically acclaimed globally. He’s not content to just stick with movies anymore as he has signed on for his first K-drama ever and it’s a 10-episode series called Uncle Sam Sik. Set in the 1960’s during the post-war era, the drama is a narrative piece about his character and the other friends in his life. The drama is from movie director Shin Yeon Sik and the two worked together recently on forthcoming movies One Win and Cobweb. This sounds fantastic and also super cool to see Song Kang Ho trying something new in an era where K-dramas continue to evolve.
