All that that about whether its the right move to make Arthdal Chronicles 2 after the less than stellar first season in 2020 and the change of the two original leads to two new leads is now receding as its time to look forward at what to expect. One big excitement for me is seeing new male lead Lee Jun Ki back in a period drama, he hasn’t done one in 6 years so this is special for me. For a stretch he did three in a row with Joseon Gunman, Scholar Who Walks the Night, and everyone’s fave pain pill Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. He’s coming back as the older version of the two twin male lead characters from AC with a reportedly time jump and I’m getting so excited! Seeing these BTS stills are starting to bring back the backdrop of the Arthdal worldbuilding.

Lee Jun Ki is brave from filming "again my life" to "Arthdal 2" back to back. Both are exhausting and hard drama to filming. Hope he can rest well after arthdal. I think he will do fine as eunsum and Saya.
