There is too much background noise with C-ent and if you’re still fan of their production whenever an extraordinary drama or movie is released then please by all means follow along but know it’s a crap shoot. An upcoming C-drama I’m super interested in is A Journey to Love (Chinese title 一念关山 which has the literal meaning One Thought About the Mountain). It’s C-actress Liu Shi Shi in her first period drama in years and has a male lead in Liu Yu Ning who I have not seen act but am a super fan of his singing career. The first BTS stills are leaked from the fans stalking the filming at Hendian Studios and she looks hella bitchy and pissed in character while he’s channeling the emo melancholy to the T. Whatever their emotional hang-ups are on screen in character it’s clear there are mountains to cross and that makes for plenty of dramatic angst.

Liu Shishi looks really good in period costumes. Her standing posture and walking movement makes me feel like she has lived in the ancient times before.
I think it has a lot to do with her past ballet dance training. She has great posture.
