Three Best Actor Winners Namgoong Min, Lee Jung Jae, and Kim Nam Gil All Get COVID-19 the Same Week Due to Busy Schedules with Awards, Festivals, and Premieres
If anyone says or thinks the pandemic is over I have a news story for you haha. It’s totally not over but the hysteria has died down to living with COVID-19 and this week three bigwigs in K-ent are getting to live with it personally. Lee Jung Jae just won the Best Actor Award at the 2022 Emmy’s and after returning to South Korea tested positive for COVID-19. His travel buddy and bestie and fellow top actor Jung Woo Sung who was with him the entire time tested negative, go figure. Also testing positive is Kim Nam Gil upon return to SK from attending the Toronto International Film Festival. And last but not least is Namgoong Min who didn’t go abroad as he’s been filming One Dollar Lawyer but tested positive the day of the drama’s press conference ahead of this weekend’s premiere so the press conference was scrapped. Wishing for full and quick recoveries to all three.

The deadly pandemic IS over. The original Wuhan Covid is gone. Nowhere to be found, thank God. Now the new Omicron (it originated in 2021 South Africa) variants are Endemic and not deadly, it’s just a nasty cold and it gives people natural immunity. We all (in the US) and all the people around us, including the frail and elderly, had it, got over it, and forgot about it already. So Biden was right.
