Park Joo Hyun and Kim Young Dae Deal with The Forbidden Marriage in First Stills for Upcoming MBC Sat-Sun Sageuk Drama
I have very low expectations for this upcoming sageuk drama lol but that’s a great thing because it has nowhere to go but up. MBC is readying for the November release of The Forbidden Marriage, taking over the Sat-Sun time slot from Gold Spoon. Based on a webtoon, the drama tells of a Crown Prince still mourning the death of his young wife and refuses to get remarried and the swindler commoner girl pretending to be possessed by the spirit of his dead wife. Starring Park Joo Hyun and Kim Young Dae, this one doesn’t screen OMG can’t wait from the casting alone, she’s much stronger at acting but he’s got more in terms of fanbase popularity but neither has even brought in ratings. The first stills look fine, she’s perky and cute and he’s doing his best regal prince posing for the time being.

His posture is very bad, it's like he doesn't care to get into character.
Who cares if they haven't brought in ratings before? As long as it's good I don't care. I must admit I have been waiting for a drama to surprise me and get out of this period where nothing seems to be interesting enough but all to no avail, I initially thought it would be Golden Spoon but that one fell off the bandwagon for me and the ones we anticipated were just not good enough for me.
To be honest I don't see this one changing that but God I want me and Koala to be wrong on this one.
The story looks fun.
But KDY doesn't look very royal on these pictures.
I so much love webtoon and I wasn't expecting this cast but let's see how it goes.
