Okay, Chinese broadcasting authorities, you drunk and need to calm the heck down. Because randomly pulling a drama a day before premiere and a month later only allowing it to preview out of the blue just gives audiences whiplash. I’ve fully experienced that with modern romance drama She and Her Perfect Husband, which was supposed to air last month in early October only to just postponed for nebulous reasons, and now is dropping from thin hour with 12 hours notice by Tencent which announced the release for November 14th this Monday. Surprise haha! There are some new stills and a new trailer that actually convinces me Yang Mi‘s normally grating high voice may work here as she crafts her own fake marriage to advance her real legal career, both girly but being in control. Xu Kai is just boy candy and a very visually appealing one, and I see skinship still in the trailer so at least it’s not edited to G-rated nothingness. All I got is that Xu Kai as the perfect “house husband” may just be the needed warmth for this cold November season.

Yes, finally. I'm looking forward to this tonight!
Just done watching the first 4 episodes, it's super funny. Looks like I've got something to watch during weekdays now.
Where can I watch it ?
I watched on Tencent directly. If you don't have VIP membership, you can only watch one episode per day from Mon to Fri though.
My bad, the international version of Tencent is WeTV. There's english subs there if you are unable to read Chinese.
Not a fan of noona dongsaeng story but one ep or two wont hurt.
But why a successful woman always ends up dating a young boy in drama? I watched Ode To Joy 1 and 2 and so glad that successful woman like Andy ended up with a man in her status. Not a boy. We need more drama like that.
Minus all the kissing scenes cut by the authorities 😭😭😭😭
I'm loving this! It's a romcom but the drama also has a pretty accurate portrayal of the challenges faced in workplaces. The characters of the two main leads also made a fresh and interesting combination.
Yikes, the opening figures are dire.
will they ever release the original version before censor? Edits can be so choppy it may ruin the story.
