• Visual-wise, they are a good match. I like Zhao Jinmai even though I've only watched Reset out of her dramas. She reminds me of Kim Yoo Jung.

  • Not familiar with her, but based on the picture above, I'm thinking she looks like a cross between Son Ye Jin and Ko Bo Gyeol lol

  • I think her vibe is more Kim Sohyun and her visuals are similar to Ko Bogyeol. She's the quiet, introverted low-key type. Personally I don't like seeing her being paired off with leading men so much older than her. Its the sad fate of actresses who break out too young. If she was 5 years older it would be better.

• Yay! Yay! Yay! This is the best match. Wu Lei and Angel Zhao both are great actor / actress. They are the cream of the crop when it comes to acting, enunciating their words, the micro facial expressions and both have experienced in box office hits. Their visuals are both eye candies. I am happy for this CP, couldn't be more excited for the drama.

• Wow, this is such an exciting pairing. Both have acting talent in addition to a pretty face. Does anyone know the basic plot of this? I don't really like angsty or sad shows, so hoping it's just a sweet youth romance.

  • The plot is pretty typical: ML was a genius billiard player, National Champ at a young age, fallen from grace in an incident somewhat involved FL family member. Couldn’t overcome his own youthful arrogance/ego/pride so he chose to quit competing in billiard sport world, cut all ties, starting a new life academically half way across the world, while still passionately playing billiard on the side. Twist of fate, a decade later he fell in love w FL at first sight, during a NY “blizzard” while emotionally lost, not knowing who she is (a rising star in the billiard world). His intense love and attraction for FL give him the “compass” inspiration/motivation steering his heart back to a sport he loves, to overcome the shadow of his past, to reclaim his status at the top of the billiard competition, to rebuild broken relationships and right all the wrongs; together ML and FL become the King and Queen of billiard.
    Solid plot fitting Wu Lei style to a T.
    FL is a strong character but not much in the novel.
    I don’t expect the drama to be exactly like the novel, which leveraged quite a bit on the sexual attractions. So it would be interesting to see how the screen play will be adapted. The drama can still be screwed up by clumsy screenplay, directing, production.. and CSensorship… if done well this drama can explode internationally as a well known delicious dish well served.

• Both are famous child actors & from prestigious acting schools. Definitely, one to watch.

  Zhao Jin Mai looks like such a cute pairing w Wu Lei. Her acting seems solid although I couldn’t finish Reset just not my genre.
  The web novel During The Snowstorm has lots of sizzling sexual interactions which for sure would be toned down to pass C-sensorship, but it seems the author is also the script writer, then as long as we get the sexual tension effect then it’s all good. Not sure how they’ll build Leo image for this drama but I’m already envisioning WL as Lin YiYang using his image promoting Michael Kors circa 2021 w buzzcut hair, leather jacket .. like OMG mhm mm hm!!!
