So I guess fans of Love Like the Galaxy will NOT be seeing any reunion onscreen of leads Zhao Lu Si and Wu Lei, at least anytime in the near future. Perhaps a long ways out but there was talk of the two being offered the leads to a modern romance C-drama and both doing it. This week a popular C-gossip columnist revealed that Wu Lei has intentionally said not to that project and has no intention of reuniting with Zhao Lu Si, it’s not a matter of bad blood but that his side wants to distance him from the LLTG CP shipping so not doing another drama will provide no new fodder for those shippers. This is such a smart move because if you live by CP popularity then you die by CP shippers getting angry their dream isn’t happening.

I’m sure ZLS feels the same way. Lol trying to distance herself from CP fans too. Very smart move. Wu Lei makes good choices when it comes to his career and not reuniting with most of his ex costars will be healthy and expand acting opportunities. He’s still young and they could pair up together in 5-10 years. I will keep Cheng Shaoshang and Ling Buyi in my heart, they are who I fell in love with not typically the actors playing these characters.

Never thought I'd be rewatching a 56 episodic C-drama yet that's what LLTG has done to me. Love story was so epic that I have become a WuLu fan. I can see them re-uniting for a well-written modern drama or movie, in their late 20s or early 30s ... with possibly, Wong Kar Wai feels. Their spark reminds me so much of BinJin, whose director in their first project was the matchmaker, which led to Crash Landing on You, & the rest,as they say, is history. But whatever the future holds for them, wishing the best for these two beautiful actors!

As fan of both I would love for them to act again, preferably a modern drama however they're both young with so much potential to explore outside LLTG so it's understandable Wu Lei declined, which I'm sure Lusi will probably do the same. A reunion for both so soon after LLTG is just not a good idea considering the 2 leads has another drama with different CP.
It's not good to play together so soon: maybe the script / team result will be not on same level and would ruin what they built. Plus I wish to see them acting separately and building their own careers in their own way..Plus wl is barely 23 yo, let him play around until his 30 - and zls has no intention to have an affair either, she's only 24.
Am I delulu for thinking he sacrificed a good script and paycheck so Lusi can be unburdened by the shipping? Cuz that's what's in my fantasy xD.
