Jung Ji So and Shin Ye Eun to Guest Star in Netflix Drama The Glory as Younger Versions of Female Leads Song Hye Kyo and Lim Ji Yeon

Oh this is a hella spot on casting for the high school era teen versions of the female leads in the upcoming dark revenge drama The Glory. Song Hye Kyo‘s teacher character has been plotting her revenge for two decades after her architectural dreams were shattered from horrific bullying in high school so the viewer will really need to connect with and feel what she went through to even buy into her plan to take it out on her bullies’ kids. Jung Ji So has been cast as her younger self and in the first stills is already sporting a beat up face. A clever reverse image casting as perpetual girl-next-door Shin Ye Eun as the younger Lim Ji Yeon, who appears to be the rich bitch head bully. Lim Ji Yeon’s glimpse in the trailer was shudder inducing and here Shin Ye Eun is totally projecting the “bored evil cat playing with her mouse” aura. Having a good teen cast will definitely add to the success chances of this drama.
