Gong Jun Leans Hard into High Fashion in February 2023 Edition of Esquire China

One thing I notice when stars breakout is the change from pretty looks to high fashion striking visuals, the complete transformation in hair, makeup, and clothing. C-actor Gong Jun has really changed his entire look and aura in 2022 and he’s in the cover and pages of the February 2023 edition of Esquire China sporting Dries Van Noten and rocking every look. He reminds me a lot of Lee Jong Seok, there is a pretty boy metrosexual vibe but in motion onscreen the actor pulls off very compelling strong male characters. I love this pictorial for Gong Jun, the hair is awesome and a fresh look to kick off 2023.

He's a mix between Won Bin and Chen Kun. Wow.
GJ isn't the brightest star in terms of acting but his looks is one of the most striking in C-Ent. By modeling alone he can earns more with less works. Dilireba and Dylan Wang are in the same club.
Why doesn't he learn to act instead of modelling? Unbearably bad actor.
He is a model turned actor....haha
Bless him, he can't act to save his life, his career is dying so might as well try this. He has the body and as long as he doesn't laugh or smile the face, so why not.
Mediocre actor at best.
I think c-ent overall is deteriorating slowly, being killed by capital who push those they spend money on regardless of talent and by the government who suppress any progress internationally. Nonetheless, GJ needs to indeed invest in improving his acting. His popularity seems to be declining. There are many new faces with tons of capital backing to compete with so he needs to up his game.
he got famous a bit too late. he’s already in his 30s so it’s going to be hard to just rely on looks. his acting is mediocre and he can’t act without dubbing. Actors his age are already acting in serious dramas yet he’s still stuck doing historical idol dramas.
He acts really well in Begin Again without any dubbing. For those who like to criticize, have you watched all his dramas? Regardless C-ent is so unpredictable, as long as GJ is still on the cover, he has a good career.
